PRESIDENT Hakainde Hichilema has terminated the appointment of Minister of Local Government and Rural Development Gary Nkombo. In a press statement issued by Principal Private Secretary Bradford Machila,President Hichilema has pursuant to Article 270 of the Constitution of the Republic of Zambia terminated the appointment of Mr Nkombo. Mr Machila said the President has since appointed Sinazongwe Member of Parliament, Gift Simuunza Sialubalo as the new Minister. President Hichilema has thanked Honourable Nkombo for his service rendered to the people and the Republic of Zambia. The President congratulates the newly appointed Minister and wishes him God’s blessings in his new role,” he said.
