ZAM BANS UNREGISTERED MUSICIANS FROM PERFORMING AT ANY SHOW IN ZAMBIA.

The Zambia Association of Musicians (ZAM) has announced that unregistered musicians are now prohibited from performing at any shows within Zambia. This move aims to promote professionalism and uphold standards in the music industry.

ZAM has been actively addressing various challenges in the music sector, including piracy and the need for better regulation. In the past, ZAM President Maiko Zulu emphasized the importance of regulating musicians to curb unprofessional conduct and criminal activities. He advocated for legislation that would require all musicians to be registered with the association, ensuring adherence to established guidelines and promoting ethical behavior.

This recent ban on unregistered musicians aligns with ZAM’s ongoing efforts to bring sanity to the music industry and protect the interests of both artists and consumers. By enforcing registration, ZAM aims to foster a more organized and professional environment for Zambian musicians.
